I finally figured out how to configure my Flickr account with my Blogger account. New daily posts of Kat and myself will be up soon. I'll also post pictures of TicTac. They both have grown alot bigger! A forum and maybe blog about my new Range Rover Sport should be up soon too. The link will be provided here once it's setup. My achilles is getting much better and I started to walk this week. Check back for updates!

Toe Toe didn't make it !!!

Wednesday February 9th, 2005 - It was a really sad day for both of us.
We had been feeding the puppies with supplement milk all day and night since we brought them home. Tic Tic and Tac Tac know how to suck the milk from the bottle, but Toe Toe didn't know how, he is the run of the litter, the weakest one among the three. At first he had problem breathing. Kat knew something was wrong and brought him to our VET Dr. Gill right away, he put him in an oxygen tank, Dr. Gill told us the milk went to the wrong way, it went to his little lung, there was nothing he can do, he suggested to put him to sleep, but Kat refused...she said "Toe Toe was breathing so hard, he was trying so hard to survive. We can't give him up now!" .
Although we all knew he won't make it through the night, but we tried for at least an hour at the VET, Toe Toe didn't look any better, he started breathing even harder and slower. Dr. Gill apologized and sent us home. When we got home, Toe Toe died in Kat's palm.
We buried Toe Toe in our backyard that night. We will remember Toe Toe forever and will save the name for our next puppy in the future.

Our little Tofu gave birth to Tic Tac Toe today February 8th, 2005. She has been pregnant for 59 days and the little guys decided to start coming out at 7am this morning. Unfortunately the first puppy didn't make it because she exited feet first and her head was stuck with the 2nd puppy during the labor. When we eased her out it was already too late.

7:30 AM: we decided to bring Tofu to the our vet to help with the delivery.

8:15 AM: Tofu delivers Tic naturally

9:15 AM: our vet advises us to let him perform a C section on Tofu, because she is exhausted from the first two deliveries.

10:00 AM: Tac and Toe and brought into this world kicking and screaming

4:00 PM: Tofu and Tic-Tac-Toe are safely at home

It has been a very eventful day. Our dear Tebby is turning 15 years old today, yes, Tic-Tac-Toe have the same birthday as their uncle Tebby. It's also Chinese New Year eve, so that means we have 3 little monkeys at the tail end of the lunar calendar. Happy New Year!

Mt. Rose and Northstar 2005

Here is Kat's first try at jumping off a ramp at Mt. Rose. The weather was great on both Sat at Mt. Rose and Sunday at Northstar. Note to self: Super Bowl Sunday = no lines at Northstar! The place was empty by 2pm and we have many of the runs to ourselves. No lines at all of the lifts, can you believe it? We hope this isn't our last trip of the year, but that will depend on Tofu and her puppies... she's due any day now!

Just plug the VoIP box into the network and then plug you phone line into the router. If you have cable modem, you can disconnect your phone service altogether. DSL is a bit tricky if you are doing line share through the phone line. This means that the DSL and phone signal is riding on the same line, so you can't cancel the phone line without cancelling the DSL line. The way we got our DSL to work with Vonage is by installing a dedicated DSL line, so that it doesn't interfer with the phone line.

We have all the basic features like caller id, 3 way calling, call forwarding, voicemail, voicemail via the web. Additional premium features include softphone to make calls using your laptop, local numbers in other area codes, 1800 service, adding a second fax line and many more. We just made an internation call and it was as clear as using a land line... can't ask for anything more!

Pregnant Tofu

This is our dog Tofu. She's been pregnant for about a month now and should be giving birth to the puppies in mid Feb. Her daily activities include the following, eating and sleeping. Poor thing, she's only 3lbs normally and she's gained a whole pound from the pregnancy. I'll post the puppy pics as soon as they come out!
